Open House Welcomes Ideas for Frisco’s Future From 6-9pm, Frisco Independent School District’s Career & Technology Education Center, 9889 Wade Blvd. An effort is underway to update the city’s master plan from 2006, addressing a variety of issues, including: Frisco’s transition from a growing city to a town with aging neighborhoods and an aging population. Discussions will take place around planning for a variety of housing types and sizes, public safety and public health concerns, public transit, and water conservation.

Once Upon A Mattress in BlackBox Theatre at 7:15pm. Based on the ‘Princess and the Pea’ this two-hour production features music, laughs, and romance. Appropriate for all ages.Tickets at-the-door: $8 in advance, $10 at-the-door. Seating is limited.
Frisco Fire Safety Town Safety Events On Friday, the 11th, and Saturday, the 12th, it’s the same fun with more learning! Our new event format offers scheduled class and demo times. Jeep and bikes rides will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Buildings in the village also will offer kid-friendly activities.

Frisco StrEATS Food Truck and Music Festival Frisco’s 3rd Annual Food Truck and Music Festival. From 1-7pm, 15 Food Trucks, 2 Music Stages, Beer Garden, Vendors and a Classic Car Show. Admission if FREE with complimentary pedicab rides from the Frisco City Hall parking garage! 4th and Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75034
Ducky Palooza Ducky Palooza features thousands of yellow rubber ducks that will race down the lazy river at the Frisco Athletics Center. Every duck is adopted by supporters of the fundraiser. The ducks will race toward the finish line representing their adoptive parents for the chance to win some great prizes. Fun and games for the entire family will be on hand as well.
Abby’s Run for Dandy-Walker Syndrome Our 3rd annual fundraiser, Abby’s Run for Dandy-Walker Syndrome, will benefit the national non-profit Dandy-Walker Alliance 501(c)(3). On April 12 at Frisco Square, Frisco, we are coordinating a 5K, 1M run/walk and family fun fest! There will be the USATF-sanctioned & timed 5K, a 1M fun run/walk, entertainment, games, yummy food, awards, raffle, inspiring stories, and more for the whole family to enjoy.
Aqua Egg Hunt Gather up a basket full of toy-filled eggs at the 6th Annual Aqua Egg Hunt which will be held at the Frisco Athletic Center Indoor Aquatic Center on Saturday, April 12 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Children 2 ½ to 10 years of age should come wearing their swimsuit for this holiday hunt. Participants will gather eggs, enjoy crafts, and have the opportunity to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and other roaming characters. A mesh bag will be provided to collect the eggs in the pool, but participants should remember to bring a basket to take their eggs home. Registration is $12 for residents and $15 for non-residents. Admission includes, egg hunt, crafts, swim pass for the day and a special treat from the Easter Bunny. Pre-registration is required for this event and is available online or in person at the Frisco Athletic Center. Online registration ends April 11. Registration will be available at the Frisco Athletic Center the morning of the event until 9:45 a.m., if spots remain available.

Waking Sleeping Beauty In BlackBox Theatre at 11am and 5pm showings, this play takes the classic Sleeping Beauty story and twists it to feature the oddball fairy, Mathilda, and her quest to find Princess Aurora’s true love before she stays cursed forever…and before the plans of the prince’s jealous brother prevail. Only four one-hour performances! Recommended for all ages. Tickets only $6

Saturdays at the Museum A free lecture series presented by the Heritage Association of Frisco, Inc. with guest speaker Melody Miyamoto Walters, MA, Ph.D. Imagine going on a seven month road trip with no mobile phone, no fast food restaurants, and even no car. Frisco ISD First Ever Senior Adult Bus Tour From 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., this inaugural event will highlight education in FISD schools with stops at an elementary, middle and high school. Residents aged 55 and older are invited to learn about current educational programs, explore extracurricular opportunities and enjoy Frisco ISD through the eyes of students. Lunch will be provided and catered by FISD culinary arts students. The tour begins and ends at the Frisco ISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive, Frisco, TX, 75035. A total of 70 spots are available and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours will involve walking.
