“Young Hearts for Frisco Arts – Membership Night” – From 6-8pm, bring the whole family to enjoy this STUDENT SHOWCASE featuring Frisco’s rising stars in visual, culinary, and performing arts. This fundraiser benefits Frisco Arts scholarships and programs. There will be raffle items, Collin College student artwork, and a special painting by the Frisco Arts President for sale. “1st NERF NIGHT of 2017” – Our first Nerf Night of 2017 at Rick’s Kicks Martial Arts, 9229 Lebanon Road. From 6pm to 9pm for ages 5 and up, a Rick’s Kicks membership is NOT required to enjoy this event. $20 per child and all attendees will be served pizza! MUST BRING Nerf gun and ammo and be sure to label your items!

“WOGA Classic” – Enjoy a weekend of great competition, fun and festivities! Whether you’re an athlete or spectator, you won’t want to miss one of the great gymnastics events of the year, as WOGA Gymnastics, home to Olympic Champions Nastia Liukin (2008), Carly Patterson (2004) and Madison Kocian (2016), welcomes the world. As one of the largest and longest running international competitions in the United States, the WOGA Classic attracts top teams, continues to bring together a magnificent field of competitors and provides an outstanding opportunity to compete with future Olympic stars. Athletes competing in this year’s competition include representation from Belgium, Canada, China, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, USA and more.

“WOGA Classic” – Enjoy a weekend of great competition, fun and festivities! Whether you’re an athlete or spectator, you won’t want to miss one of the great gymnastics events of the year, as WOGA Gymnastics, home to Olympic Champions Nastia Liukin (2008), Carly Patterson (2004) and Madison Kocian (2016), welcomes the world. As one of the largest and longest running international competitions in the United States, the WOGA Classic attracts top teams, continues to bring together a magnificent field of competitors and provides an outstanding opportunity to compete with future Olympic stars. Athletes competing in this year’s competition include representation from Belgium, Canada, China, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, USA and more.

“The Patriot Cup in The Star” – Lacrosse fans, don’t miss the Patriot Cup, presented by GEICO, when it returns to North Texas for its 9th tournament at its new location, Ford Center at The Star. The Patriot Cup will feature a full day of events showcasing some of the nation’s best collegiate teams and powerhouse Texas high school teams. Proceeds from the event will benefit HEADstrong Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to improve lives affected by cancer. Tickets are on sale at www.Ticketmaster.com, by calling (800) 745-3000, or in person at Ford Center Ticket Office. Prices are $18 for kids 12 and under and $24 for adults. Ticket is valid for all games on February 18.

“LEGO Americana” RoadshowStonebriar mall  will host The LEGO® Americana Roadshow, a visual and educational installation of large scale LEGO models of the United States’ most beloved landmarks, February 18-March 5. Ten one-of-a-kind models made completely out of LEGO bricks—including the U.S. Capitol Building, White House, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Statue of Liberty, Independence Hall and Old North Church—will take over Stonebriar mall to entertain and educate customers and families.

Sunday, February 19

“Third Sunday Open House Celebrating Frisco’s 115th Birthday” – It’s a FREE party at Third Sunday Open House! Celebrate our city’s 115th birthday at the Heritage Center from 1pm to 4pm. Mayor Maso will blow the whistle on Steam Engine No. 19 at 2:00pm and cake will be served in the Depot. Activities include historic home tours, kids games and crafts, live animal show & tell, and music in the chapel. Frisco Heritage Museum, 6455 Page Street in Frisco.

Monday, February 20 – President’s Day

“Frisco Town Hall Meeting” – Join the mayor, members of City Council, city staff and your fellow residents this month for the first Town Hall meeting of 2017. A “2016 – The Year in Review” will be featured, as well as other timely topics and resident questions. The meeting, held in City Council Chambers, will last about two hours, from 7 to 9 pm. Can’t join in person? Registered voters in Frisco will also receive a phone call during the meeting, inviting them to listen in and ask questions.

Tuesday, February 21

“Lone Star High School Vertical Art Show Reception” – Frisco ISD will highlight art work from students in the Lone Star High School feeder pattern during a public reception scheduled Tuesday, February 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the FISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive.

Wednesday, February 22

“Texas Legends vs. Los Angeles D-Fenders” – Tip off at 7pm in Dr. Pepper Arena. Get your Texas Legends tickets!
