
W.I.N.G.S, Women Inspiring New Generations of Success, is a seminar hosted once a month at the Frisco Public Library from June to November. Every month a new inspiring woman will come talk about her success and how she got to her position.
Teens and adults are invited to meet and hear Darlene Hunter speak. She is a Paralympic basketball medalist and she currently coaches several wheelchair basketball teams in Dallas.

The Frisco Listening Room is an opportunity for all ages, instrumentation, and genres to perform live.
Musicians: Sign up for a free 5 minute slot in the ticket link, bring your own instruments/equipment (microphone and digital keyboard by request), and take advantage of this performance opportunity with fellow artists.
Listeners: Support live music in Frisco and support local artists. Free entry but limited to the first 100 guests. No registration required. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
Refreshments served after the show and artists and the audience are invited to engage with each other and discuss the performances.

All 12 Frisco ISD Marching Bands will be presenting their 2023 competitive marching band productions. Tickets are $5 for general admission and $7/8 for reserved seating. Tickets will be available to purchase online at tickets.friscoisd.org starting September 8. Tickets will also be available at the gate, however attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.

During the school year, the Board of Trustees will host a Community Input Meeting in the auditorium of the District Administration Building each month. Community Input Meetings are designed as an opportunity for stakeholders to provide constructive input or ask questions on any issue related to District business or governance. Community Input Meetings will not have specific topics on the agenda. As a result, speakers may speak on any topic related to Frisco ISD business or operations. Stakeholders will be called up to speak in the order in which they signed up and each community stakeholder will have up to three minutes to speak to District leadership.

Kathryn Iklé (E-clay) is a Dallas, TX creative and versatile artist. Join her for an artistic and unique evening out! The dynamic Kam Hunt will emcee the evening’s festivities. A collection of art and apparel will be on display and for sale, with a percentage of all sales donated to the Retina Foundation to aid in the fight against blindness. Refreshments will be served by the amazing Teacher by Day Event Services. Make sure you pause long enough to have your photo taken by professional photographer Suad Bejtovic! Karl and Erik Macias from Twinflux will be onsite to capture the evening on video. Video and event photos will be available post event for attendees.
