Two seats in Frisco City Council are up for grabs in the May 2016 election and each seat has 3 candidates.
Jeff Cheney will be reaching his term limits and will vacate Place 2.
John Keating is running for the House of Representatives District 33 seat and will vacate Place 4.

Place 2 Frisco City Council Candidates
During her 26 year law career, Terri has combined her ability to listen with a durable work ethic and deep knowledge of the law. Terri was appointed as the Collin County Associate Probate Judge in 2013, and was also appointed a Teen Court Judge in Plano, where she sat on the bench for four years. The Collin County Commissioner’s Court appointed her to the Collin County Child Protective Services Board in 2010 where she was elected by other Board members as its President and continues to serve in that role today.
Eric earned a BA in Political Science from the University of Texas in Dallas, and MA in Constitutional Law Studies. While attending the University, Eric was the Chapter Chairman of the Young Conservatives of Texas, a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, and the John Marshall Pre-law Society.
Eric and his wife live in Frisco, TX where he continues to serve his community through his local Church and by serving as a precinct chair in Frisco, and as the Collin County GOP vice-chairman for engagement. Eric is a Graduate of Frisco City Hall 101, a Leader in the DFW Chapter of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, a Member of the Association of the United States Army, and life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Currently, Shona serves as the Director of Governmental Affairs for the Frisco Chamber of Commerce, and represents the Chamber in the joint effort between the City, Frisco ISD, West Frisco Homeowners Association, Collin County Association of Realtors, and residents and business owners in the fight against the transmission lines that are proposed for Main Street.
Over the last 12 years, Shona has focused on Frisco, serving the community as an appointed official on the 2014-2015 Citizens Bond Committee, and as elected President of the 2012-2013 Leadership Frisco Class.
Shona has bachelor’s degrees from Southwest Baptist University, and two master’s degrees in political science and public policy.

Asche’s has a background as a 30-year emergency nurse. In her role as an emergency nurse manager she managed emergency departments, trauma centers and trauma programs in Austin and Dallas.

Bill has is a banking professional and has been in lending for over 20 years, with increasing responsibility at nationally known corporations such as Bank of America and Citibank. Today he is a Vice President and part of the key management team at American Business Lending. Bill has a BBA in Finance from UNLV, and a Masters in Accounting from UT-Dallas.
Bill has an extensive community service record in Frisco including as a member of the Planning And Zoning Commission, Citizens Advisory Committee for Hike & Bike Master Plan Update, Charter Review Commission, Zoning Advisory Committee, and 2010 Complete Count Census Committee.
