Kitchen Lighting

Looking to update our kitchen lighting with something that I can install myself. In other words, anything that will attach to the existing ceiling wiring. Any recommendations? We're debating getting some track lighting but the options at HD and Lowes seem very limited.

Thanks!

I used LED tape to create up and down lighting on my cabinets. It's pretty easy to do. The wiring is almost all low voltage so no worries about lighting yourself on fire.

I am using LED strip tape all over our new house. Go to one of the LED stores in the Dallas area to get ideas or contractors to do the work. The old fashioned 120V pot lights are completely outdated.
