As long as clap boy, Garrett, is leading the team they will be very average at best. Sadly, very average is good enough for Jerry Jones.

But hey, Jerry got us a championship in '95.
And for whatever reason Jerry is still making billions of dollars while getting millions in tax incentives.

This is football country, the Cowboys are very popular/profitable in spite of Jerry Jones. While they are the cream of the crop as it relates to worth, it wouldn't even be close worldwide if they just fielded a decent team.

No, sadly average is good enough for the fans who keep paying out $$$ to sit in that stadium, pay crazy prices for concessions while the product they receive from both can be freely picked up from any cattle owner

Jerry walks around like being associated with the Cowboys has some panache worth more than few extra $$$, The official toilet paper of the Dallas Cowboys, but the reality is the team is mediocre at best - The Cincinnati reds of baseball - once great but now not worth the price of nachos. Delusions of grandeur. I'll give Jerry some credit for building a brand, but a football team - Ahh, NO.

I really don't believe any businessman could've screwed up the brand.

And the Cowboys, while not fielding a competitive team in decades, is still the WORLD’S most valuable sports franchise (in all sports - per Forbes several years running now.) A few of the European football clubs (soccer to us Americans) are also in the top 5.

You have to hand it to Jerry Jones growing his investment of $140M (he had the guts to go “all in”, that was virtually his family’s entire net worth after selling his oil drilling companies) turning it into $4.8B in 29 years. A marketing master.

I agree but would add if they fielded a decent team they would be by far the most valuable sports franchise. I mean they are still tops fielding a loser. Can you imagine if this was a winning organization!!!!!!!!!!

Red Rooster Garrett needs to start requesting Cleveland Browns game film! They WON and did not use JJ's "secret sauce." Garrett should never have been hired as the Head Coach! He has no pedigree as a winning anything in professional football. The last time Da Boyz looked and played like an NFL team RECENTLY was WHEN a genuine qualified SB winning coach Bill Parcells got us into (1) post-season game! That year in an interview Parcells stated that the QB (Tony) would be better off, if he was not associating so much with Hollywood starlets (Jessica Simpson). Tony clearly had no winning pedigree either. He never won any championships in high school, college or the pros!

JJ needs to stop drafting criminals and drug users who don't get it and sit out games either in jail or worse yet a year in suspension. The STAR is not a halfway house for parolees (sets a terrible example for Frisco high students and athletes). Current joke around the country is that Frisco is gonna have to pass another bond election for more schools and to build a bigger jail. No hope, if JJ steps down then we will have his "genius" kids show their brilliance. They have no idea, how to build a winning professional football sports franchise! Clearly the fans are much more restless today than in past years, it will start to show soon in lowered fan attendance and a lower TV audience (revenue $$$$). Now, let's check their schedule, when will the legitimate and for real professional Cleveland Browns play again (no more brown bags with eye holes in the stands there)? :)
