Ingredients
Large bottle of a heavy red wine (merlot or cab)
Cinnamon sticks
Whole cloves
Whole allspice
2 Oranges
3 cups sugar
Cheesecloth


Procedure
Pour red wine into crock pot. Make a mulling bag by placing the cloves, cinnamon sticks, and allspice into the cheesecloth and tie closed.

Put the sugar in the crockpot and the mulling bag. Stir

Cut the 2 oranges into wedges and put in crockpot.

Cook for several hours, stiring occassionally.

Remove lid from pot, has a wonderful aroma. Serve.

Also -- will keep in the fridge. I pour the extra into a pitcher and keep in the fridge. Can be easily heated in micro or served cold mixed with seira mist.
