I don't usually post these kind of posts, but Tom Laughlin (Billy Jack) was one of the bad ***** that we really like to watch back in the late 60s, early 70's.
I saw this posted in the Marathon forum in RunnersWorld.com this morning. I'm not sure I agree with all of it, but I have noticed in smaller races that I have run that the fastest times for some of the younger age groups weren't as fast as my 2nd and 3rd place finishes in my AG (50-54)...
Guess I ought to not regrow my beard for hunting season unless I'm not traveling during the fall.
I know it doesn't matter, but should the NY Yankees do the right thing and not play him? I can't see any way he is going to win this appeal.
IMO, if the Yankees play him, the commissioner should vacate the interim wins if (when) his appeal fails.
I hate to even post this, but Clark MS is being evacuated. My wife called FISD and was told that something was said, whatever that means. Everything looks to be OK from what I can see.
Anyone know anything beyond this?
I have to admit, I wasn't happy that Louisiana Tech choked at the end of the season and missed an NCAA tourney berth, but was glad that they made it into the NIT tourney. After the football bowl debacle I was pretty ticked.
I was happy to see the Bulldogs come from behind and beat Florida...
Why couldn't we runners get a whole month like those cyclists? Of course, Dick's said May was National Running Month but they just want to sell stuff.
Get out and run. Or better yet, stay inside on a treadmill today...
