February 2-28 – “Emoji: Express Yourself”– Frisco Art Gallery
Frisco Arts is hosting an open art exhibition for artists ages 15 and up. Emoticons are used in texting to convey nuances of feelings such as love, goofiness, sadness, anger, fright, and happiness. How do you express your emotions in art? A variety of artistic mediums will be on display. Come for refreshments and a chance to meet some of the artists on Wednesday, February 11, from 7-9PM in the Frisco Art Gallery.

February 27-28; March 6-7 – “The Baker Street Irregulars”– Black Box Theater
Frisco Area Children’s Theatre is putting on “The Baker Street Irregulars,” by Flip Kobler and Cindy Marcus. See how a group of kids who occasionally help Sherlock Holmes solve a murder at the Wainwright Circus and discover the reason behind Sherlock’s sudden illness. Tickets will be available at the door: $10 for adults; $5 for children.
February 28 – Bel Air Brass – Astraios Music – Black Box Theater
Trumpeter Daniel Kelly returns for a second concert with Astraios, a national network of chamber musicians. This time, he will be performing with the faculty brass quintet from Texas A&M-Commerce. Lacey Hays, Mike Morrow, Jimmy Clark and Jeff Baker will make their Astraios debuts. Following the concert, enjoy a light reception and a chance to meet the musicians.
