Ready to hang out with the Texas Legends and meet the team? You’re opportunity is coming up on Tuesday, November 17th.
With the beginning of training camp, the Texas Legends have announced the first opportunity for fans to meet the team, get autographs and watch them in action. The sixth annual “Fan Jam”, presented by Raytheon, will take place at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco on Tuesday, Nov. 17th at 6:30pm.
For the second year, Raytheon will be on site to display some of the portions of the new and improved Innovation Row, Raytheon’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Math initiative at Legends home games. Innovation Row has added components this year to assist in the relation between education and basketball. The purpose of Raytheon’s Science of Sports campaign, which is currently traveling around North Dallas schools and charities, is to make learning fun and interactive for youth.
Fan Jam will begin at 6:30pm and fans will have the opportunity to catch a sneak peek at this year’s roster as they scrimmage and perform various drills and contests. The Legends’ one-man basketball show, Generous George, will also take the court with his world-renowned act. The Legends’ dance team, mascot and front office staff will be on hand for autographs and photo opportunities.
