Enriching Our Artistic Aesthetic – Frisco Fine Art

In October 2017, several local gallery owners and interior decorators decided that there was a lack of accessible art in Frisco, and instead of just talking about it… They opened Frisco Fine Art & Interior Design Center.

Their mission? To boost the Frisco arts and design scene, provide local artists with an outlet, provide the community with resources and a venue, and offer residents access to art and design that was both excellent and affordable.

Frisco Fine Art is one of a kind, the only local retail art gallery that also functions as a center of community activity and education.

Randy Jacobs, one of the gallery’s three owners and an acknowledged artist in his own right, notes,

The gallery sells art, sculpture, and art glassworks from local artists as well as masters and traditional art from Europe. The gallery doesn’t just offer art for sale… We offer a wide range of services to the community, from design work for homes to art classes for children.

The gallery even offers work on a commission basis allowing Frisco residents unique and affordable access to completely original work.

The space itself is rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after locations for events, and a number of non-profit events have already been hosted at the Rail District location and the gallery’s popularity is growing as a fantastic local venue for everything from weddings and book signings to corporate gatherings and fundraisers. Randy says,

Our hope is that we can be an asset to the community. We don’t just want to be another art gallery.

We want to become a pivotal center of activity as well as a resource where Frisco residents can find high-end art and design that is accessible, whatever their price-point, and a lovely addition to their homes and offices.

In many ways, the Frisco Fine Art & Interior Design Center functions as a unique lifestyle boutique with one-of-a-kind options for residents to purchase.

We just recently tested out a new decorator collection on our floor, and it’s already almost completely sold out.

One of the consistent names on their floor is the work of the well-known local firm David Call Interiors, whose principal, David Call, is also a founding co-owner of the gallery.

With a portfolio made up of work by local artists as well as nationally and internationally acclaimed creators, the Frisco Fine Art & Interior Design Center has compiled a rich and diverse collection. Visitors can see and purchase creations by international names such as:

Frisco Fine Art & Interior Design Center is available for design work and consultation for businesses and corporations as well as private homes. In just a few short months, the gallery has already provided commercial design work for a number of local firms and businesses including The Cheney Group and a local Montessori school among other local businesses.

This summer, the Frisco Fine Art & Interior Design Center will establish themselves as a well-known community resource through the wide variety of summer camps they are offering.

Beginning June 4, the gallery is offering week-long summer camps covering a vast array of topics for a variety of ages, grades, and schedules. Kids can choose from courses like “Self & Family Portraits,” “Inspirational Masterpieces from Around the World,” and “Magical Dot Week – the Magic of Pointillism.

The gallery also offers a number of other events available to the public, and their weekly Friday night BYOB Wine and Painting Party is just one of the many ways that the gallery pairs art experience and education with memory-making and fun.

Whether you’re looking for indoor activities during the hot summer months for kids or adults, design inspiration or guidance for your home, or just enjoy new exposure to undiscovered artists, the Frisco Fine Art & Interior Design Center has something to offer every resident.
