If you are looking for a way to add a little “happy” to your holidays, but you’re not super jazzed about the virtual fun you’ve experienced so far in 2020, we have the solution: DFW Scavenger Hunt
We’ve all tried to find COVID-friendly fun for our families and friends, and we’ve learned that some virtual events are better than others. DFW Scavenger Hunt has figured it out. This local business offers you the most fun you can have this season, an absolute blast.
And when I say “blast” I really, actually, mean it. This is legit fun, Frisco, and you’ll tell your friends about it.
When 2020 became a little chaotic (to say the least), DFW Scavenger Hunt pivoted and took their successful in-person events to an online format. After all, they LOVE to entertain — why not do it virtually? They’ve taken all of the in-person fun and created an equally engaging experience in a virtual format. The hunts are hilarious and highly entertaining for all ages and groups. (Hmm…gift idea?)
Since We’ve No Place to Go…
I participated in a DFW Scavenger Hunt recently with my own family. It was a huge hit with our whole crew! We have kids ranging in age from 3 to 15, plus an assortment of parents and grandparents, and everyone loved it.
Imagining your crew just sitting in front of a computer? Not exactly! DFW Scavenger Hunt will keep you moving, laughing, and thinking. The hunts offer fun mental challenges along with plenty of movement, humor, and races against time, as participants play through a series of different challenges.
Our virtual host was fantastic. He was friendly, funny, and thoughtful about engaging each of our participants. For example, he started by asking our 3 year old “what is your favorite color?” Then, everyone had to run around the house looking for something “pink” to wear for the remainder of the hunt. It was funny, fast-paced, and energetic.
The game proceeded through an entertaining series of word games, household searches, picture puzzles, riddles, and more. Everyone had to pitch in to meet our goal of solving the final puzzle before the buzzer. We all had a lot of fun! The hunt was a great way to connect with one another and a memorable, unique experience.
DFW Scavenger Hunt offers a fun variety of hunts, tailoring the game to the ages, abilities, and interests of your participants. Founder Brandon Oropallo shares,
Our events are challenging and exercise the brain, but they’re also a complete entertainment experience, a real game show full of surprises and laughs. We focus on diversity, creating challenges that give everyone a chance to show off.
Where we really shine is in our ability to customize our game to incorporate your interests, your favorite topics, and even inside jokes. Whether it’s building a company-themed hunt for your next team building event, or creating an Avengers-themed birthday hunt for your kids’ birthday party, we love making something new and unique!

Remotely Entertaining
DFW Scavenger Hunts was founded as an outdoor scavenger hunt business, hosting hunts all around the Dallas area (including Frisco’s Texas Sculpture Garden).
In 2020, Brandon and his team pivoted the business to offer the online hunts – fully hosted games that challenge players to solve puzzles by finding clues in their very own homes.
This change has allowed the company to reach groups all over the United States – and the world. Brandon shares,
We’ve hosted birthday parties from St. Louis to Australia. While we’re excited to be able to get back to our Dallas communities [and outdoor hunts], we’re having so much fun offering virtual hunts that we intend to offer them indefinitely.
Personally, I’m thrilled to hear that the virtual hunts will continue. Let’s be honest, some “2020 virtual experiences” feel pretty watered down. Not at all the case here. DFW’s virtual experiences are awesome in their own right and would be a blast in any year!
Tis the Season for a Scavenger Hunt
This holiday season is the perfect time to try — or gift — the DFW Scavenger Hunt experience. Brandon adds,
We’re excited to offer a Virtual Holiday Hunt this year, and we’re already accepting bookings. Perfect for company parties and family gatherings, the Holiday Hunt incorporates trivia, puzzles, and games inspired by your favorite holiday films, music, and even decorations. From word games to picture puzzles, the game is a jolly way to spend some time with faithful friends. And since there’s no place to go, we connect through Zoom and play remotely, ensuring a safe experience for everyone.
The quality of a DFW Scavenger Hunt event reflects Brandon’s passion and creativity. He loves to provide experiences that challenge participants and bring people together in a special way. He says,
The joy of challenging people with puzzles and games comes in the aha moments; those times where someone surprises themselves with an answer they didn’t know they knew, or unlocks a puzzle in the nick of time. It’s been so gratifying to be able to offer teams and families opportunities for camaraderie, creativity, and fun.
These days, connection is more important than ever. DFW Scavenger Hunts offers a unique way to enjoy experiences together, whether you’re with your loved ones, colleagues, or family who lives far away.
This holiday season may be different, but who says different can’t be FUN? DFW Scavenger Hunt offers you a new and innovative way to celebrate the season with your family and friends. And, as we all know, in 2020 (or in any year), special memories together are the very best holiday tradition of all. Ready to book a hunt?
