Culture A Day Spa is an Experience You’ll Never Forget

July 19, 2019 by Stephanie Hanrahan
Culture A Day Spa Relaxation

The last place I got a massage from lured me in with a neon sign and the promise of a sale.

I left with a kink still in my neck and the sound of dogs barking in my ear. Note to self: spas and animal stores shouldn’t share the same thin wall.

But the minute I stepped into Culture A Day Spa I knew things would be different. Not only would I soon learn there was extra insulation added behind each wall, but I was in for an experience that goes far beyond a facial or back massage.

Katelin and Jon Schebler, Owners of Culture A Day Spa and the professional skincare line KS Esthetics, went to great lengths to create a spa experience that is truly different from any other.

Driven by the need to bring a true luxury day spa to North Texas, Katelin, a licensed Esthetician with over 13 years of top industry experience, pulled coastal influences and world-class training to develop Culture from the ground up.

Culture A Day Spa

Luxury, Escape, Culture… Pure Relaxation.

Culture’s expertise and attention to detail are reflected in every aspect of the biz, from the privacy-enhancing layout and paraben, all-natural products, to the custom services and floral-infused white tea. Guests are given a true place to retreat, relax, and renew their mind, body, and spirit.

Culture A Day Spa received its name because of the Schebler’s true passion for changing the “culture” of the industry. Their focus is not only on providing guests with 5-star luxury service but also implementing change within their team, crafting an empowering work environment for all employees.

Each member of the Culture team is provided with onboarding and ongoing training allowing them to perform among the industry elite.

Culture A Day Spa Front DeskThis was evident to me as I entered the spa and was greeted by the glow of natural lighting and an equally bright smile of the attendant behind the desk. There was almost too much beauty from both to contain.

The friendliness, the front foyer displaying an area for professional makeup application. The KS Esthetic skincare line, with its sleek packaging and intentional ingredients.

There’s nothing artificial about it…

Each of the 15 products took Katelin 10-11 months to make as she hand-selected ingredients, omitted fillers, and artificial fragrances, refined them with plant-based components, and insured that they contained the highest level of legal peptide concentration to be effective.

If you could bottle up perfection, there it was: on the wall for purchase and utilized in every Culture service.

But the details and delight didn’t stop there. As I entered the locker room and made my way into the relaxation, technology-free zone, I noticed even more: luxury grade robes, the perfect level of lighting, seasonal fruit-infused water.

The treatment rooms boasted the same level of exclusivity: hydraulic, heated tables—the widest possible on the market and fitted with professional-grade sheets.

Culture A Day Spa LockerroomThe couples massage room featured a walk-in shower, an amenity you can add on for a small price post-service. His and hers shower heads hung overhead. Body scrubs, lotions, and washes were provided on a beautiful tray.

And of course, a tiny sand timer to keep track of time. It would be likely to spend your whole life in there otherwise.

How about a Spa-cation?

When I began to look at the offered services my indecisiveness got the best of me. How can you choose between a White Wine Peel or the Ageless Caviar Facial? All custom, no cookie cutter. I wanted both, in addition to a Customized Culture Massage.

Perhaps the SPAcation or A Day at Culture would be best then. There’s no turning down a Signature Citrus Body Treatment, 80 minute Hot Stone massage, a nourishing spa lunch, Illuminating Diamond Facial, customized makeup application, and a reflexology foot treatment for the gentlemen.

You can forward my mail. I’m never leaving.

And I really wouldn’t have to because Culture A Day Spa has a private dining area for reservation. They feature summer and winter menus, and you can also bring in champagne to toast a birthday or a “just because” celebration.

Culture Spa diningCulture took years to create and it’s evident why. This is an experience that goes far beyond unforgettable. They always say love is in the details, and that applies tenfold for this luxury brand.

It’s hard to believe anything can get better at Culture, but as they approach their one year anniversary in October, and an accompanying party to celebrate with new and existing clients, they plan to roll out two new services, researched and result-driven by the Frisco community.

Culture A Day Spa LogoCulture A Day Spa has pride, and passion, and the best of all products and services with intentionality. This isn’t just a spa, it’s an experience.

One that I certainly won’t forget. One I certainly will be returning to very soon.
