The Rail District, Downtown Frisco: The beautiful lights and the holiday atmosphere downtown are enough to transport visitors momentarily to the set of It’s a Wonderful Life. At the corner of 4th Street and Walnut, several historic homes have teamed up for what is a truly stunning must-see Christmas display. One home boasts of a tiny Christmas village! Continue exploring the historic streets nearby, as we’ve heard that many homes down there are decked out! Also, while you’re downtown, take a few pictures at the beautifully-lit gazebo off Main at 4th Street.
5913 Myrtle Lane: Just west of 423 off Lebanon, Myrtle Lane is another standout among Frisco residences this time of year. This home’s glow is visible from nearly a half mile away at the nearest intersection, and will likely remind you of Clark Griswold’s house in the movie National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation! TEASER: The below photo was taken in 2017. We’ve seen it this year — it’s beautiful yet again, with a few changes and a lot more fun details!
3809 Hazelhurst Drive: The Burkman residence has over 25,000 lights on their house! “A family activity that takes weeks to put together” they have a life-sized gingerbread house with a smoking chimney and many other fun things on display. The home is so popular, the Burkman Holiday Home has their own Facebook page to publish fun happenings on the calendar!
