Frisco, TX (November 20, 2014) – Frisco Square Property Owners Association, NBC5 and City of Frisco announce the 10th annual Christmas in the Square Light Extravaganza. Christmas in the Square begins November 28th and continues through January 3rd, 2015 in the heart of Frisco Square, at Main Street and Coleman Boulevard. On the weekends, Frisco Square turns into a Winter Wonderland while snow machines delight all with flurries every 15 minutes. With over 655,000 visitors in 2013, Christmas in the Square is one of the largest community events in North Texas.
Christmas in the Square hosts media night, Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:45 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Frisco Square and the City of Frisco will turn on all the holiday lights at once, “statically,” during this time to enable the media a unique opportunity to capture the square in all it’s beauty.
On December 20th marks the 10th Anniversary Celebration and the return of favorites such as; horse drawn carriages, the popular Trackless Train, visits with Santa, 3-lane inner tubing snow slide, Build a Snowman and a fabulous 10th Anniversary Fireworks Show and more!
Carriage rides will be available Thursday through Sundays starting on November 28 through January 3rd from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A horse drawn carriage is one of the many ways to enjoy the Light Extravaganza and will be loading at the corner of Coleman Boulevard and Frisco Square Boulevard. Carriage rides are $6.00 per person.
