Roses are red. Violets are blue… and we have Valentine’s Day covered for you!

You may want to pen your own poem… But you can count on us for a fantastic listing of Valentine’s Day events happening in Frisco!

The big day lands on a Wednesday this year…perhaps not the most romantic day of the week. If your “adulting” responsibilities should preclude you from celebrating on that day, check out one or more of the many Valentine-themed events in Frisco spanning across the month of February.

Special Events

RED 2018: February 2nd at 7:00pm, theGallery8680 hosts RED 2018. This is historically one of their biggest shows, with a huge variety of art by dozens of regional artists, with works predominately painted in red.

Theatre Frisco: The 2018 season opens with the classic romantic musical, I Do! I Do!. The production will run in the Black Box Theatre at Frisco’s Discovery Center, February 9 – 25. Director Neale Whitmore stated, “Since the run of this show encompasses Valentine’s Day, I wanted something romantic. And since the show celebrates a long-term marriage, I am dedicating the show to the 64 year marriage of our Executive Producer, Howard and Joyce Korn.” The story follows newlyweds Michael and Agnes starting on their wedding day and explores their life together over the next 50 years until they finally sell their home to the next pair of newlyweds. Lead castmates Chelsea Wolfe and Jacob Catalano are longtime favorites at Theatre Frisco. Interestingly enough, they’re also engaged!
