Christmas in the Square 2015 Light Installation and Event Line up
Frisco Square Property Owners Association, NBC 5 and the City of Frisco announce the 11th annual Christmas in the Square Light Extravaganza. Christmas in the Square begins November 27th and continues through January 2nd, 2016 in the heart of Frisco Square, at Main Street and Coleman Boulevard.
On the weekends, Frisco Square turns into a Winter Wonderland while snow machines delight all with flurries every 15 minutes. With over 665,000 visitors in 2014, Christmas in the Square is one of the largest community events in North Texas.
Installation of the Christmas Lights is well underway at Frisco Square. The good weather that we are having is helping the installation team’s speed thru the installation of thousands of lights and miles of extension cords on the buildings surrounding Simpson Plaza. Behind the scenes, progress continues on programming and testing the new musical creations that will drive the lights for the 11th installment of Christmas in the Square. Testing of the display will take place the weekend of November 21st and the following week leading up to Thanksgiving.
