FC Dallas and USMNT player Reggie Cannon sat down with Hustle & Pro to discuss his soccer journey to this point and the opportunities ahead. From Christian Pulisic paving the path through Europe to Michael Bradley helping him prepare for his national stage appearance, Reggie shares some of the significant moments he’s experienced up to this point.
He’s a standout player and a stand-up guy who spends extra time with his fans post-game. He doesn’t want any fan to feel ignored so he shakes hands and gives autographs, always remembering that he was once one of those kids in the stands…
“When I was calling out their name and they didn’t quite hear me, it hurt a little. So I always want to try to give them the time they attention they deserve,” says Cannon.
His road to get to the pro level was a tough one – it required a lot of hustle and tough decisions to get where he is today. Sometimes, chasing what other people think is a foolish dream…is worth it.
