On this episode of Hustle & Pro, we chat with swimmer Hanna-Mary Cook.
As a young kid, Hanna-Mary was scared of the water. But, between swim lessons and friends who helped influence her to embrace the water, she turned into a competitive swimmer. In fact, she used that early experience to help others learn to love swimming, too.
Four successful years of swimming at Reedy High School in Frisco didn’t come easy. Hanna-Mary shares about dryland workouts, the early hours in the pool, and the grueling 5-6 hours of training a day that competitive swimmers must endure.
She heads off to Wellesley College in Massachusetts later this month. She’ll continue swimming and is leaning towards studies in Anthropology.
Enjoy this impressive young athlete’s story from our great sports-centric city of Frisco, Texas!
