While you’re perusing Arts in the Square this weekend, why not stop by Frisco Discovery Center and support local moms? Frisco Kids Consignment takes place over two days – Friday March 28th & Saturday March 29th.
There is a Pre-Sale event on Thursday night. First time parents and Moms Groups can get a first look at all the stock starting at 7pm.
Co-owners Sherrie and Becki are both stay at home moms and decided to go into business together a few years back. With FKC they present a unique experience for both sellers and shoppers twice a year.
They explain “As parents we know kids grow so fast that many of their outgrown items still seem brand new. We are providing the opportunity to make money selling those items, as well as buy high-quality, gently used items”.
I first discovered this event last year while helping a friend of mine consign and realized it was bargain heaven for moms to be, and moms with kids of all ages.
I then became a consignor last fall; a task that seemed daunting at first but boy was I hooked with Sherrie & Becki’s oh so simple process.
You earn a high percentage on sales but can increase your percentage by volunteering for short shifts during the sale.
So if you’re looking to turn those lightly worn, outgrown items in your child’s closet into cash, then this is the sale for you.
And it’s a lot easier than holding your own garage sale!
FKC specializes in the high-quality, gently worn children’s (newborn to teens) and maternity clothing, shoes, toys, books, games, DVDs, baby equipment and furniture.
