Frisco Square is  holding their 3rd Annual “Trick or Treat the Square” on October 27th from 1-4PM.

This weekend is full of Fall in Frisco with Pumpkins on the Prairie, Friday Night Lights, Attack of the Zombies, a don’t miss wine tasting, the Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day, Gary Burns Fun Run and more…

Thursday, October 24th

Grand Opening of Clothes Mentor.

Don’t miss this weeks wine tasting at the Wine Cellar at Starwood featuring:

Friday, October 25th

Fall Festival with Trick-or-Treating Event at Frisco Fire Safety Town, 6-9pm
Every October, we invite all ghosts and goblins from tots – 5th grade to join us for our Fall Festival with Trick-or-Treating. Our village will be decorated and the Safety Town residents will be on hand to pass out treats of all kind. Parking is always an issue for this event; we strongly encourage visitors to use the FREE shuttle;  The shuttle stop is located at the Frisco Athletic Center (map)

Pumpkins on the Prairie is running through Halloween. Grace Avenue United Methodist Church, 3521 Main Street, Frisco, TX  75034 Mon – Fri  1PM – 8PM, Saturday 9AM – 8PM, Sunday 12PM – 8PM

Attack of the Zombies! – Frisco Area Children’s Theatre, Oct. 18 & 19. See zombies versus students! The senior class students are throwing their annual party, with a zombie theme. Located in an old farmhouse formerly owned by crazy Dr. Thanatos, they come to realize that the zombies really are going to attend, shuffling out from the graveyard next door! Enjoy this classic horror style, spoofy comedy. Tickets $5-10, at-the-door, only. (more info)

Light The Night Walk in Frisco Square; During this leisurely walk, Champions For Cures carry illuminated balloons – white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer. Thousands of walkers-men, women and children – form a community of caring, and bring light to the dark world of cancer.

Guns & Hoses Football Championship 06:00PM – 11:30PM , FC Dallas Stadium.  During the 3rd annual Guns & Hoses Football Championship, police and firefighters from departments all over the metroplex will play a full-contact football game. Last year’s proceeds from the game were more than $36,000 to support the families of police and firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The Guns & Hoses Foundation of North Texas is currently supporting 26 families. FREE tailgating 1:00-5:00pm FREE PARKING – Tickets to the game are only $10. Kids 4 and under get in FREE –

Gary Burns Fun Run: Walk or run to help others! Gary Burns Fun Run raises money for the Frisco Education Foundation’s goals of creating scholarships for Frisco ISD seniors and providing grants for Frisco ISD teachers. It’s a huge community event that honors the life of the late Gary Burns who was an assistant fire chief for the city.
8am at Toyota (FC Dallas) Stadium.

12th Annual Ladies Auxiliary Holiday Bazaar; 8am to 2pm. Hosted by the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75033. FREE Admission & Door Prizes;
Shop from over 80 vendors; Christmas Tree & Wreath Silent Auction; Bid on a fully decorated Christmas tree or wreath.
Bids accepted 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m (map)

Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day: Shine your boots and mark you calendars for October 26, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., for the annual Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day event at the Frisco Heritage Center, 6455 Page Street. Admission is $5 per person. Children age two and under are admitted free. Come join in and gather a herd of fun! This family event is sponsored this year by the new Frisco Gun Club, AutoNation Ford, FC Dallas, Newman Real Estate, and the City of Frisco. The event will feature an old West gunslinger show (without the real ammunition), stagecoach rides, petting zoo, pony rides, vintage vendors, armadillo races, face painting, performances by local school children, barbecue, pizza, roping stations, old fashioned photo opportunities, a quilt show, and pioneer life-skills such as blacksmithing, whittling, etc. (map)

Trick or Treat the Square, Frisco Square will offer its third annual Trick or Treat the Square from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 27. Families are invited to go door to door at the square’s shops and restaurants. There will also be a petting zoo, a not-so-spooky spook house, face painting and wagon rides.
