Next Thursday, February 22nd, Project Relo will be bringing BOND (yes, as in James Bond) to Frisco at Verona Villa for an evening of poker and partying in “dress to impress” black-tie attire. Tickets are $100 per person to attend and $200 per person to play poker.
So, it’s time to dust off that tuxedo, or dig out the diamond necklace, as this high class event contains all the glitz and glamour required to make this one fantastic night of fun for a cause.
Project Relo is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating business executives on the benefits of hiring military veterans. This education occurs during immersive leadership courses where veterans and corporate executives conduct simulated military exercises on U.S. Army bases working together to overcome obstacles and adversity.
Most C-suite executives don’t realize the depth of leadership training, ethics, character, and responsibility that is ingrained in our veterans, and they are typically a frequently-passed-over human capital resource.
Project Relo is about helping organizations understand that hiring a veteran is WAY more than a social good… it’s good business. And Project Relo sets that up by building relationships between executives and veterans, as well as between executives themselves. In the end, ALL the participants win because there are no hand-outs given… there’s none expected. Yet, you can expect, coming out of a Project Relo mission, enriched and with a better understanding of a talent pool that can help you accomplish your organization’s goals better faster.” ~ Christian Anschuetz, Veteran and Project Relo Co-Founder
During their time in service, veterans have had the opportunity to lead, be a part of a team, and learn how stay cool under pressure. They apply that same level of perseverance, and dedication to the “mission” of their corporate jobs.
Come join us for a casino night fundraising event dedicated to our nation’s veterans. Every dollar will go to help veterans get back to work and to live a better quality of life.
Casino Royale will have so much going on that there will be something for everyone. Be amazed as Verona Villa is transformed into a world of guns, gadgets, girls, and more. On one side of the venue, listen for live music performed by local Frisco musicians like Grace Tyler and Charlie Memphis, and all food will be provided by Bonnie Ruth’s.
At this event you will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with some of the NFL alumni, meet the Mayor of Frisco, Jeff Cheney, and guest of honor, Medal of Honor Recipient, Mike Thornton.
NFL Alumni announced to be in attendance: Ken-Yon Rambo (Cowboys/Jets), Terrence Wheatley (Patriots), Demetric Evens (Redskins/49ers), Javier Collins (Cowboys), Ryan Moats (Eagles/Texans), Romby Bryant(Ravens/Falcons), Tyler Clutts (Cowboys/Bears), and more.
Play in our poker tournament, where the winner will receive a seat at the world series of poker in Las Vegas Winner!
