As seen and heard on Disney Radio, K104 FM, 105.7 FM, WFAA, CBS, Star News, and Collin County News, the “Strut for a Cause” fashion show at Women Who Dare benefiting “Real Beauty Inside Out: Healthy Mother Daughter Relationships” is happening during the Women Who Dare event scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, at the Preston Ridge Conference Center Collin County College in Frisco.
Come join us for a half-day event filled with networking and empowerment for women including professional and entrepreneurial women modeling Fall 2013’s looks, colors, and accessories while showcasing fantastic products and services, and capped off with a motivational keynote and a visioning board seminar. Tickets start at $20 and go up to $50 for the visioning board seminar and hors d’oeuvres.
Sound bites, information, and wisdom will shared by professional and entrepreneurial women from all sectors who are bringing their expertise to the event for Millennium Professionals Magazine to publish in post-event publications. And stick around after the event as mothers and their teen daughters will participate in a fun, interactive, and free seminar to get the new school year off to a dynamic start.
Women Who Dare was created to empower professional and entrepreneurial women while bringing an awareness to the role healthy mother/daughter relationships play in a teen girl’s success in other areas of her life including academics, and reducing the likelihood of risky behavior which can lead to teen pregnancy. It’s through Women Who Dare to follow their dreams and inspire those around them that free fun seminars are made available to mothers and their teen daughters throughout the metroplex.
The motivational keynote speaker is psychologist, talk show host, author, and former Texas child-bride, Dr. Trevicia Williams who helps people “get there.” Her child-bride story about being a 14 year old African American girl in an arranged marriage to a 26 year-old man from Germany right here in Texas will inspire and motivate professional, entrepreneurial and small business-owner women after the fashion show on Saturday, September 14th. Don’t miss this captivating and empowering event and get your tickets today!
