Frisco Square Property Owners Association announce Music in the Square a free summer event held on Simpson Plaza each Friday in June, from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Music in the Square is a FREE event featuring an amazing line-up of talented musicians. Bring friends and family, grab a picnic, some blankets or chairs and enjoy listening to a variety of musicians as the sun sets.
The summer schedule includes:
- June 6– Motion is one of North Texas’ most versatile and polished party bands. The band’s style encompasses familiar tunes from the Motown era, R&B, and popular dance songs in today’s Top 40s. The musicians’ choreography and contagious energy drives party guests to the dance floor at every show.
- June 13– Chant Duplantier is a Louisiana-born, Texas bred multi-instrumentalist who defines his sound as ‘Eclectic Soul’. He blends his blues, soul, an funk influences with uniquely crafted songs to pay his respects to the music of the past while establishing a new sound for the future.
- June 20– Moving Colors is one of the most popular bands in the Dallas area performing a wide variety of music and incorporating some buckets & trash cans in their routine as well. They love to have fun on stage.
- June 27– Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Bluegrass Band is a modern “bluegrass” band that plays and sings the songs of The Beatles. It starts with some of the best music composed by Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison and takes it on a Magical Mystery Tour all its own.
