The Texas Legends have announced a partnership with global IT innovator NTT DATA that will celebrate and raise funds for a local school district. On Thursday, December 1st, the Legends will suit up in custom jerseys celebrating Plano ISD and NTT DATA’s commitment to furthering education.
Plano ISD night will highlight the different schools and students in the district. NTT DATA purchased group tickets to be distributed to participating schools, and all performances prior to, during and after the game will be entertainment groups from Plano ISD.
As part of the night’s festivities, select individuals from Plano ISD and the Plano Education Foundation will be recognized as “Legends of the Night.” Fans will also be introduced to NTT DATA’s newest initiatives and the partnership with the Plano Education Foundation.
We celebrate local students every home game but it’s special for us to get to celebrate the district and employees,” stated Dallas Mavericks GM/Legends Owner Donnie Nelson. “The administration and staff are out there serving our students daily and it’s a pleasure for us to get to celebrate them along with our students’ successes!”
The Legends will host the Greensboro Swarm for the first time on December 1st. The game will tip off at 7pm and will be broadcast live on both television—Texas47—and radio—KVGIradio.com—as well as on www.TexLegends.com. For tickets or information call the Legends’ front office at 214-469-0822.
