“First Fridays MakerSpace presented by Raytheon” – In Sci-Tech Discovery Center, attendees can enjoy two workshops on how to use a laser cutter and creating a custom-designed lamp from wood, iron or sheet metal. Workshops are suitable for ages 10 and up.

“Tech Teens at Frisco Public Library” – Hands-on tech exploration! Teens who attend Tech Teens help plan future activities – have fun while you help us plan! Explore a tech topic with a featured activity. The topic & focused activity change each meeting. Tinker with tech on your own or with a friend. Self-guided opportunities are available at each meeting. Meet other teens that have the same interests as you! You can share your knowledge and learn from your peers. Bring your tech questions! Having trouble with a 3D design or want someone to take a look at your graphic design portfolio? This is the group to come become a part of. Drop by for 15 minutes or an hour – it’s up to you! No registration required! From 6pm to 7pm, in 1st floor, Teen Room, come to any meeting without signing up. Technology will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own laptop or tablet for the focused activity.
