Military ID is required. US Vets abnd their family only! All particpates MUST be 10 years or older. This workshop is not for younger kids. Closed toed shoes are required. The programs will begin at 6PM and 7PM.
The goal of First Fridays is to provide veterans and military families with an opportunity to explore their ingenuity and the tools available to build almost anything they can imagine. It can also be the first steps in a New Year to launching a hobby or career by doing something creative and challenging,” said Kim Parks, community relations manager at Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems.
The MakerSpace is equipped with a 3D-printer, robotics kits, a full-spectrum laser cutter and advanced woodworking tools – a proverbial “candy store” for the do-it-yourself crowd.
